Linden MB Youth Ministry is The Way.
Our weekly youth program has started! Through the year you will find us typically hosting 1 of 4 kinds of events. "Reach" events, in which we host a fun evening to draw as many youth as possible. "Grow", when the leaders put on a Youth Alpha program to teach directly The Way of Jesus, and inspire youth to follow it. After that is "Celebrate", with a meal, worship and testimonies. Finally is "Serve" when the youth work at a project to help others. Occasionally the Wednesday evening activity is skipped in favour of a weekend retreat. Youth traditionally consists of Grade 7-12 students growing in authentic relationship with God and others through activities and challenges which promote spiritual, community and ministry development. Events are regularly scheduled for 7 pm on Wednesday evenings at the church.
Our team of volunteers include more than a dozen people from our church family, leading the way are:
Disciple-making- working with small groups, disciple-making and student care. (Lead: Carolyn Kung)
Hospitality - working with snack and meal preparation and hosting. (Lead: Devin and Lynne Atchison)
Events - working with planning weekly events (Lead: Clint Toews)
Prayer - working with soul care, planning prayer gatherings and praying for the youth ministry. (Lead: Tyler Gerritsen)
