Belize

Every two years students from LMBC and community prepare to travel to Belize to serve communities there.  Over the years they have served in various way, including supporting kids VBS ministries and thatching houses.  Most commonly they have ran a VBS in Santa Cruz church.

 

 

2025.04.23 - Mid trip Update

The team assembled at the church by 4:30 am with a few well wishers and off they went!

Arriving in Belize they started with some liesure time.

Before diving into church events and VBS programing

and ended their day with devotions and debrief.

 

 

 

2025.03

This years team has been hard at work training,

and perhaps being a little sily from time to time,

since early January.  

They practice VBS verses, skits, games, crafts and story boards.

Also they work hard to fundraise for this trip. Two of the biggest fundraisers are Pies (this year’s sales went out mid February and baking has started, delivery happening soon!) and Soup and Bun lunch happening Sunday, March 9^th. Join us at the church for a delicious meal!

The team is gearing up to leave April 18^th and will be home April 27^th. Please pray for them as they seek to minister to Belizean communities, let their love of Christ be evident and a seed planted for something more in the lives of the Belizeans they encounter.  Please pray also for travel safety, team camaraderie and each of their faith journeys.
